Coming originally from the English public school class that mr lambert
refers to, I must object to his comment that "the English rural elite
classes " ..."look very unappealing...". I can only suspect that the
correspondent never learned how to mix a good stiff English drink, but
insisted on filling it with ice and other dilutants. Looked at through the
bottom of the right type of glass, the English are a most comely nation: )
