Mt. Rushmore at night. Pretty cool. They do a program with monster lights
on the president's faces. I tried to photograph them, and the results
really sucked, 'cause the lights were straight on, and there were no shadows
to show the lines of their faces, etc. As we were heading down the road
leaving, I looked up, and there was ol' Geo. Washington's mug in profile
with the light still on him from in front. Made a wonderful shot, with
great texture and all.

If you go around the time of the big motorcycle rally in Sturgis, you'll see
a near infinite number of bikes on the freeway and on all of the little back
roads around the area. Quite a sight.

Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. Ho-hum, unless you're into that sort of thing.
Probably worth while to see if you're there anyway.

Good luck,

Karl Wolz
