Out of curiosity, what do you do for a tripod when traveling like this??

| Marco - do I detect a slight Italian influence?......
|
| Part of the trip will be work anyway, otherwise I would not be going. As
| it will be a fairly short trip then it seems to make more sense to try and
| take a couple of meaningful photos. There are already great memories of
| previous visits in smaller formats lurking somewhere in the filing system
| (well boxes actually) that contains all the 35mm stuff.
|
| The deciding factor in taking the 4x5 LF kit over is not so much the
| weight, rather the potential problems from inspections of film holders
| coming back from Rome. This wasn't so much of a problem in the past,
| however security has been tightened up a lot since the end of last year.
| There will not be time to get the film developed before returning. Was
| thinking about buying some Fuji film in Rome and taking some Ilford B&W.
|
| Maybe planning to dance is a better idea :-)
|
| Cheers,
