Press 40s are the size of a 25 watt bulb and one or two shouldn't have an
effect on shutter contacts. the biggest, No3s and No75s were designed more
for 110v banquet style. I've successfully shot three of these off on an
ancient 15amp breaker panel that I'm certain Thom Edison wired himself (the
subject was the 50th anniversary of Ben Lovett's dancing classes sponsored
by Henry Ford at Greenfield Village

Graflite and Graflex battery cases take two or three D sized batteries and
there were extenders to bing the total to 5. Beyond that they used a 6volt
hotshot battery or a car battery in a relay system. It runs in my mind that
Graflex said the batteries needed rate of 7amps but they never said how that
was had. (short circuit with an ammeter would only get you a fried ammeter)
