In the USA there is a product by 3M called Positionable Mounting
Adhesive (PMA 568). It is a great product, comes on rolls, and is
pressure sensitive and is applied with a squeegee. No heat required.
It is removable/reversible with naphta or acetone. Spray mounting is
also good, but about irreversible.

A low heat mounting "tissue" made for RC photographs is a good
alternative. That tissue actually is like a plastic layer that melts
invisibly at low heat.

If at all possible, do not have the glass touching the photo. A mat is
preferred to create an airspace. Do not use a plastic spacer
(econospace etc) when using the PMA. The prints will buckle eventually.

Try a few methods and see which you like best.

i am investigating ways to mount fuji archival paper. what would the
best substrate be on which to mount the colour prints, and which
adhesive would offer a quality, non-acidic, archival effect. in SA the
range of specific archival glues is very limited. i once heard of
mounting photographs to board with wax, any responses. if a print lies
against glass can it effect longevity? any advice on archival mounting
welcome. thanks
