[LargeFormat] A daylight tank for 4x5

I really like the Jobo Expert series a lot and you can hand roll them on the
counter without a processor ... the 3010 takes up to 10 sheets 4x5 and I
have used that tank almost anywhere.

Tray processing is good if you are good at it .. Takes a lot of practise to
interleave 6-10 sheets without scratching, marring, blotching, etc. Any
drum would be more consistent than a beginner with a tray, and I dont know
about you but I hate uneven developed skies !

The Expert drums give extremely even and consistent development with a true
minimum of chemicals (350 - 450 ml for 10 sheets).

By the way, nice to have a dedicated server and email address. Thanks
Clive, good move!

Well, I'm not Clive by any means, but for B&W film processing I have to
agree with his recommendation. One can easily do 10-12 sheets at a batch in
a tray. A few minutes in the dark is peaceful respite, giving the mind an
opportunity to wander freely when denied the sense of sight. I find it most
relaxing.

If you insist on tanks or tubes, look into the Jobo 2521 or 2551 (one and
two reel respectively), up to 6 sheets per reel, processing tank, reel and
loader. This model fits all Jobo processors, unlike the expert models which
do not fit the CPE processors. Excellent, repeatable results with only
slightly more fuss than tray processing. For color, the 25x1 processing
drums are the ticket.

enjoy,
jp
