[Jacob-list] Twins x 2-----Same ewe?...

Hi Jacquie,

Good morning and happy surprise!

If Sandy is Sasha's daughter, it would be no surprise if that first set of twins were not hers but that she stole them from another ewe. Is that possible? Sasha did that one year and totally fooled us until the second set came. I suspect she was close enough to birthing that she had milk for the stolen twins.

I've had other ewes since then steal a single from another ewe, and I learned to check backsides if I was suspicious. The pretend new mother will have a clean backside, and the real new mother will have a bloody backside.

Good luck. Maybe after these few days since Thursday there will still be evidence on another ewe.
