AGM Update:
We have a block of rooms set aside at the Best Western State Fair Inn,
Sedalia, MO. The address is 3120 S Limit, which is South 65 Highway & 32nd
Street. Telephone numbers are (660) 826-6100. and the toll free number is
(877) 826-6101. Just ask for the JSBA group rate.

Entrance to the Missouri State Fair Grounds is 1 block north of the motel.
Turn left into the fairgrounds and follow the road 1/2 mile back to the
sheep pavilion. Signs will be posted.

If you are bringing sheep, the following are the current regulations for
sheep entering Missouri.
All sheep must have Scrapie ID Number
All sheep must have a current health certificate, stating that they are
free of infection and/or contagious diseases.
No special test or permit is required for any age ram or ewe.

If you are planning on buying sheep, check with your Veterinarian for
requirements to enter your state. Some require Bluetongue test on rams one (1)
year of age. This cannot be done on site.

August 30
6:00 p.m. Light Dinner
6:45 Fleece show and judging
8:00 Welcome reception and Spinners Lead Line

August 31
9:00 a.m. Sheep Show and Judging
12:00 Lunch
1:00p.m. Panel Discussion with our experts "Anything Sheep" Bring your
questions
2:00 Herd Health Managment--Dr Clifford-Rathke
3:00 Shearing Tips and Demonstration--Guy Frazier
4:00-6:00 Innovative Fiber Arts--Janet Frazier
6:30 Lamb Dinner catered by Little Bighorn Restaurant
7:30 Annual Business Meeting
8:15 Raffle and Art and Photo Contest Judging
Bring a Photo or Art of your Farm and Sheep. Photos
should be 8 X 10 or larger
Sept 1 Departure

Health Certificates will be available
Hay and Bedding wil also be available

The renound Katy Trail which runs from Kansas City to St Louis is adjacent
to the Sheep Pavillion. Bicycles may be rented in Sedalia. It's a great
trail to bike and hike.
