[Jacob-list] Follow up on mineral question

Old wether not doing any better. Ran a fecal sample into vet this a.m. -
clean, but mucus indicating shedding white blood cells. Add that to anemia
- super pale eyes and we decided to pull blood. They came out this
afternoon and checked everything they could think of, but worried he was so
neuro acting by then that we decided not to stress him with pulling blood.
Very little rumen action, temp. of almost 106. We ran fluids and gave him
banamine and LA300. Both vets agreed that more likely his problem(s) were
geriatric based and not related to the other two sheep's issues, so I'm
relaxing about that a little. Just a little. Really appreciate the
responses. Would like more discussion on differences between these sheep
and more "commercial" types.

Thank you!

Sara
