[Jacob-list] Protein Tubs

The last two years I've used Sweetlix molasses/protein tubs in the late
winter for the sheep.  However, this year I didn't get any since my weather
was eating about 50% of it (and left the brown evidence on his nose!) and
getting fatter.  The sheep loved it, but I just couldn't justify the expense
to give my one weather a constant snack.  Now I just give them sweet grain
at the rate of 1 cup per ewe per day from 1 Jan through 28 Mar along with
their alfalfa.
