[Jacob-list] Docking Tails

The standards (for most of the Jacob registering bodies) call for tails
that fall no longer than the hock. It was one of the reasons that some
breeders did not dock - so that it would be obvious that their sheep had
tails of the proper length.
I didn't dock for a few years and still have two adult undocked ewes.
They are as clean after lambing (even if they lamb before we shear) as
any of the others. The only reason I dock is because most buyers want
them docked.
