He's not bearded; he's got a mane!  There are photos of him on Cheryl's website and mine, but not during breeding season, so I will try to get one tomorrow, though I haven't a clue how to post a photo to this list, so I will send it to im rapunzil, and if you know how to post to a list, feel free?

  The brief discussion of beards on Jacob rams prompted me to go to our ram pen and look for beards that I apparently had missed in the past.  All of our rams appear to be clean-shaven, and I do not recall having seen (or noticed) a beard on a Jacob ram.  Posters probably are referring to something other than the type of beard found on goats.  For me and other JacobLister who might be confused, I will appreciate being referred to a website with a photo of a Jacob ram with a prominent beard.  Thanks for your effort.
