I haven't used Earthhues Dyes, but love dyeing gray Jacob wool. I do
natural dye on occasion, but have to confess to preferring chemical
dyes. I dye to a deeper depth of shade than I do when dyeing white
fiber. Some colors that would be pretty garish over white fiber turn out
very deep and rich over gray wool. I love the subtle variation in color
when dyeing heathery gray Jacob. I haven't found any sort of yellow dye
that looks good over gray Jacob, but that may just be my preferences.
