I also had problems with Lonestar. I waited two or three years for the
pelts to come back. Communication was poor. The finished pelts are very
nice; except one has a small rodent hole in it. This damage was done at
the tannery because there were finely chewed pieces of hide around the
hole, probably from the hide stored somewhere for a long period of time.
If you do send them something, don't send your best pelts.
I just received two sheepskins from Sterns Tanning. They did a very good
job and it took about 6 months. Never had rodent damage from any of the
other tanneries.
