[Jacob-list] strange question

This may be the strangest question ever on the list, but I can't seem to
make a decision, so I need to ask your advice. My daughter works four nights a
week at a movie theater, and each night the employees take home huge bags of
popcorn, or they throw it out. I think I have two kitchen trash bags full
right now. When the popcorn gets old, I've considered tossing it into the
yard, but am afraid it might harm the sheep in some way. I hate to see anything
go to waste. The popcorn is cooked in "popping oil" (nothing more
definitive) and then salted with "popcorn salt". Do you think the popcorn would be
safe for them to eat if they picked it up in the yard, or if I were to mix a
little with their grain every night? Would I need to get them little toothpicks
for when the kernels get stuck in their teeth? :-)
