[Jacob-list] Feeder

I honestly wouldn't recommend it. They could get their heads stuck in the
holes, or at the least rip off horns. We finally found instructions for a
feeder that works for us, although we have since modified it with a 24 in
piece of plywood screwed to the inside of the 1"x2" bars about 12" up.

Neither my mom nor I, are carpenters so it took us about 5 hours our first
try. Now on our 4th we can finish them in about an hour and a half. We
figure it cost us about $35 to build one, and each feeds about 8 ewes. So
far, knock on wood, we have had no issues with them, and with the plywood on
the inside, have enjoyed exceptionally clean fleeces and less waste. If
anyone is interested we can email the modified plans.
