I would say 10 to 12 yrs., but it depends on how they are taken care of too.

  I've seen lots of discussion on the maximum life span of Jacobs, but I don't remember seeing anything on the average life span.  For those Jacobs that make it to adulthood, what would you say is the AVERAGE life span of your Jacob sheep that die of natural causes?
