Unfortunately, short-sacking is not a guarantee of impotence. The theory
goes that with the testicles up in the body, the temperature would be too
warm to have viable sperm. Good theory, often true, sometimes false.
However I agree, that the taste of uncastrated ram lambs is
indistinguishable from wethers.
