I need to reduce my flock drastically over the next couple years and am focusing more on my Icelandics. Prices can be negotiable for multiple purchases on the registered sheep, but not the meat sheep or crosses. Prices don't include delivery.

Write me with questions or for pictures. I am in Creston, OH. Details follow:

Thanks,

Sheep for sale:

Jacob ram lambs:

SOLD - Tiny’s single ram, lilac, 5 horned, well spaced, lots of color.

Orchid’s 4 horned ram lamb. $125 Nicely spaced striped horns, carries lilac, well marked, Twin.

Registered Jacob Ram: (unrelated to my older ewes - pre 2006) $200.00 -SALE PENDING - Moonstruck Dude, 5 horned twin, carries lilac, excellent long and soft fleece, some freckling. Beautiful markings and horn set - curving back. The fifth one is small and doesn’t really show up anymore but he does throw an extra horn now and then.

Registered Lilac Jacob ewes:

Moonstruck Thistle $150 3-12-00 (1,2,2,3,1,3,2) Very good mother, weak side horns, light blue eyes. Nice longer wool but a little quilted. Thistle is Periwinkle's Mother. Thistle is calmer than some - only sheep not to fight me when doing her feet this year. I guess she knows the routine by now.

Moonstruck Periwinkle $150 2-17-03 (0,1,2,2) Excellent mother, produces nice lambs consistently. Weak side horns, nice longer wool but some quilting.

Moonstruck Orchid 3-1-04 $200 (1,2,2) Lots of color but has faded some. Nice wool, very little quilting, almost not quilted. She has been excellent mother but she rejected Lavender after she was chilled and revived but they never had a chance to bond and she had another twin to raise. Her lambs consistently look very good.

Moonstruck Sassafras $100 2 year old 3-3-05 (1,1-lamb injured, died) Bottle lamb, had pneumonia when young. Two horned, short, coarser wool, bluish eyes. Lots of personality. Her 2007 lamb was very pretty and her 2006 lamb was a nice 2 horned ram. Thistle is Sassy's mother. She was a triplet and couldn't compete with siblings - ended up getting pneumonia until I sent her to my Mom's for full time care. I didn't dock her tail because was afraid of stressing her. Sassy needs to go to a good home (pet home possibly). Her lambs have looked good but I don’t like her wool. She likes other animals as well as sheep.

SALE PENDING - Moonstruck Tiny - Yearling $225 2-27-06 (1) Lots of color, has not faded much at all - compared to Lavender, our other lilac yearling. Her sister Tulip is very black. Nice wool, no quilting. Solid 4 horns that point back, not forward. She is pretty tame - we took her to the fair with Lavender last year and she had some bottle feeding. Doing well with her ram lamb. I'd like to keep her but I need to reduce my flock. Her little ram is the one with more color. I was looking him over and he's got the start of 5 horns - his dad/grandfather has an extra little horn too.

Registered Black and white Jacob ewes:

Moonstruck Magnolia $175 2/16/06 (0,2,1,2,2) 4 horned, black with freckles, lots of color and good markings; produces nice sized lambs that generally look better than herself - esp. horns - but not this year. Wool is longer and nice but gets a wool break after lambing and if shorn too soon gets broken tips.

Moonstruck Marilyn 2/3/06 $125 (1-born dead - probably butted by ram) Hazels daughter, Lots of color, very pretty ewe with extra long, soft wool. Solid 4 horns. Split eye deformity in one eye - waters when she is stressed but otherwise not a problem. I didn't catch it until this year after she had her lamb and was upset. There is a tuft of hair above the eye and a small notch in the top of the eyelid.

Moonstruck Hazel 2/20/02 $175 (0,1,2,2,2) Marbled eyes, classically marked, nice wool, Magnolia's half sister. Good, reliable mother - produces large healthy lambs but has produced split eye deformity in some lambs with our current ram.

Moonstruck Sweet Pea $175 2/24/04 (1,2,3) really nice 4 horns - somewhat forward but solid side horns. Lots of color, not fading/graying. Raising Icelandic cross triplets this year and doing well.

Moonstruck Flopsy $225 2/14/06 (1) $200 Magnolias daughter, exceptional horns, really nice long wool but graying some. Raising her lamb very well this year.

Moonstruck Tulip - $175 5/31/05 (0, 1) 4 horned, top horns tip forward and out but side horns are very strong. Wool is very soft but shorter. Black is very black and is well marked. Sweet tempered and smaller Jacob.

SOLD - Tulips Lamb - 4 horned, lots of color and nice markings, tight fleece, probably fine like her mother. $125

SOLD - Hazel's Lamb -4 horned, missing eye spot on one side, large healthy lamb, very minor split eye deformity on one side. Seems to have marbled eyes like her mother. $100

SOLD - Orchid's Lamb - 4 horned, well marked, nice fleece so far, carries lilac $125.

Wethers, meat quality Jacob ram lambs (will not be registered), Icelandic/Jacob crosses: $100 each unless specified:

Hazel’s wether: Perfect 4 horns, great markings, minor split upper eyelid deformity on one side.

Magnolia’s wether (aka Black Eyes) - fused horns, very nice wool, lots of color, freckling.

Magnolias ram (aka Tail Spot) - missing eye patch on one side, fused on one side, nice pelt.

Flopsy’s ram - lilac, 4 horns, fused on one side, nice fleece/pelt, well marked.

Periwinkle’s Icelandic cross wether: largest cross, 4 horned, black with cinnamon shading on his side, nice intermediate fleece.

Periwinkle’s Icelandic cross ewe: White with badger spots (mostly show on legs and face)

Thistle’s Icelandic cross wether: White with black spots. 4 horns. My favorite cross fleece - looks more like Icelandic, not sure if it is double coated but it is very soft.

Thistle’s Icelandic cross ewe: Black with white teardrop spots. 4 horns.

Sweat Pea’s black and white Icelandic cross ewe: $50 - VERY small triplet, somewhat tame as had some bottle feeding, Black with white points.

Sweat Pea’s black and white Icelandic cross wether: Black with white points.

Sweat Pea’s black Icelandic cross wether:

Tunis crosses:

Tunis - $75 7/8 Tunis, 1/8 Romney older ewe. Large and productive, easy keeper. Produces consistently good meaty lambs with Jacob rams and probably others as well.

SALE PENDING - Tunis’ 2007 black ewe lamb $100. Polled black, very large single lamb.

Yearling twin Black Tunis cross - $75 - ½ Jacob (Dude ) out of Tunis (above). Polled, Good first time mother, nice black wool. Produced healthy ewe lamb this year.

¾ Jacob (Dude), 1/4 “Tunis” $100 - 4 or 5 horned ewe lamb, black.
