[Jacob-list] Rabies Shot

 I've never given any livestock a rabies vaccine.  Is rabies common in your area, and are sheep more susceptible to it than, say, cows or horses?  Are people vaccinating other livestock in your area?

  The vet was out a few days ago, and we were talking about vaccines.  She suggested that we give everyone in the flock a rabies shot, since we interact with them on a regular basis.  (Morning and evening).  Do any of you give a rabies vaccine?  This doesn't seem to be a Self-promoting suggestion, as she would not necessarily supply either the vaccine or the labor.
