[Jacob-list] drought induced deficiancy

Overheard some cattle farmers talking yesterday about their cows coming up vitamin A deficient due to the hay produced during the drought this past year.  Are there any concerns we should be watching/checking/supplementing for with our sheep?  If so, what would be some key signs of problems?
