[Jacob-list] wool

I love to spin my Jacob wool. I have a drum carder and do all my own processing and blending -wonderful varieties of silvers. I also was recently given a small bag of white kid mohair which I blended with some of my Jacob and Cheviot wool and LOVED it. Now I'm thinking about adding a couple of goats maybe. Other than spinning, weaving and a very little knitting, I needle felt a lot - sheep sculptures, felted pins, wet felt journal covers, wool balls. Should do more, but spend too much time working on the farm... I have a website if you are interested in seeing any of my little sheeps http://www.myfavoritesheep.com/special_gifts.htm .

  hello,
i'm very new to jacobs but have been involved in animal husbandry and fiber arts for a long time. my question is, what are you all making with your wool? i've done some felt bags so far but that's it. i'd love to see what else is going on.
  melissa
