The only problem we have (and the animals all have lots of space) is that 
the chicken love to sit in the barn where it is cool and sit and deficate 
all afternoon while perched on the ledge of the water trough or the hay box. 
  They all (the chickens) have a habit of finding the worst spot to 
fertilize.

I should add we have some free range rabbits also and the sheep really love 
them, just before lambing time a few ewes bonded with one rabbit and we got 
great photos of them rubbing noses.
