there are always horror stories on here about sick and dead animals but this 
could get worse, yesterday i sold some hay to a neighbour who raises meat 
goats, he wanted to get some kids in for easter so bred them early.  out of 
20 kids he lost all but a few to the cold.  it may be bad planning but it is 
also just plain tough luck too.  he is now getting out of goats and into 
something else.

i count my blessing and assume the odd dead animal is nature's way of 
humbling us when we get over ambitious.
