There's a pretty obvious difference between a roman nose and the normal hormonal induced swelling.  Today when I was wandering around the Jacoblist archives - still looking for the Anita Evangliista article , I came across the same question -  I'd asked it 6 years ago.  Take a look at sheep breeds that are considered having rn's - Cheviot for one. The ram on the JSC homepage is shown full frontal - can't really see his profile (the JSC page hasn't been updated in years) but doubt he's Roman nosed.  I think the definitions for registration standards should be precise and easily understood.
