Chris,

Some of them eat during labor and don't stop.  There
are people on the list that believe feeding grain
around delivery will create lactation problems.  My
girls have gotten grain treats post delivery (within
30 minutes of delivery) for the past 11 years and I
have no had lactation issues of any sort.
