[Jacob-list] Re: Jacob-list Digest, Vol 3, Issue 14

Yesterday I had the sheep sheered and the sheerer
pointed out that my favorite wether had no penis.  He
recommended I sell him for food because he will be
just one big infection waiting to happen (we wondered
why he peed down his legs) and I am wondering if this
is true.  Is this common?  genetic?  I think it would
be more merciful to have a clean end than to die of a
massive infection, but he is the sweetest and loving
animal of all the sheep.  I have another wether I do
not mind selling for food cause he is agressive, but
this little lovey guy would be difficult to send away.
 What are your ideas/thoughts?  Victoria
