where yours has been compromized by both illness and the drug therapies,
it would seem the infection would be more possible to occur.  Barns are
very dirty places really.  I have a pretty solid immune system at this
point in my life, but 10-12 years ago when I was in college I pinched my
hand in the corral gate at the horse barn.  I didn't think much of it as I
tend to cut myself often enough.  But, the dirt there must have been extra
special as it caused some minor infection that I was quite careful to see
that it cleared up well.

I'm glad that you were able to get help with your situation and I hope it
continues to improve.
