[Jacob-list] chaffe hay

We're in an area where hay is about as valuable as gold.  Maybe more so as our sheep and donkeys can't digest gold very well.  

I've been reading up on chaffe hay and wonder if anyone has experience with using it.   We normally feed Russell Bermuda and fescue (have never had a problem with fescue) hay supplemented with alfalfa pellets and cubes.
