[Jacob-list] breeding season over.... rams together?

I have limited experience with correlating disposition with genetics. The meanest ram (to people, fences, barns) I ever had was the son of a real terror ram. His dam was a super friendly sweetie and I always did wonder if her total lack of fear of people might have contributed to his lack of respect (he wasn't born here). Would you consider that the personality of the dam has an effect? Off the topic of rams, but on the topic of disposition, Sophia - a serious in your face ewe - had twin ewes one year. One was always with her mother coming up for scratches and treats. The other (Sissy) was and still is a very wild ewe. Sissy's first lamb, Nina, is one of those lambs that was born liking people - much to Sissy's horror.
