We're fortunate (so far) to not have coyote problems with the sheep, although coyotes are in our area. I think it may because we have so much national forest bordering us and the coyotes have not yet been driven to our sheep. Abit south of here, where it is mostly farm land, the coyotes have done serious damage to sheep flocks.
We had geese for awhile and had them for the Palm Sunday tornado that came through here. We had baseball sized hail - the geese never even sought shelter. When I went to town the next week, it was amazing to see all the cars with broken windshields. We heard the tornado (which touched down three miles from here and hit again 5 miles on the other side) and saw the hail and these geese just kinda tucked in.
Our biggest problem here has been domestic dogs.
