[Jacob-list] lamb count/chewing off tails

Two years ago one of my ewes chewed off about 2/3 of one of her twins' tails.  they get so involved in cleaning, I think, that they don't realize that what they are chewing on is not just the membranes. 
That's the only time it's happened here, though.
