Hi Kathey...first I will say that I have no firsthand experience of donkeys 
with my flocks, but a neighbour at our old place had a gelded male donkey in 
with his Jacobs. He had to separate them for several weeks after lambing as the 
donkey would try to tread on the lambs. It wasn't just a size thing as they 
had no trouble with poultry and smallish dogs about the place. Perhaps lady 
donkeys are different with youngstock.
