[Jacob-list] Butcher Weights

Here (NE Georgia) the kill fee is $40 and then we are charged by the pound (using the carcass weight) for cut and wrap. 
 I think it was.40/lb for our last one.  Using those prices, you'd be even with a ram with a carcass weight of 70 lb.  
I haven't had any with a carcass weight that high and I've done 3 and 4 year old rams.  My flock does tend to run more 
towards primitive, though.  There is a place near us that does a straight kill/cut/wrap fee, but with Jacobs, it has 
always been more economical for me to go with a per pound charge.  Plus, we've been going to the same butcher for over 
10 years and we like him.
