You guys all have some great ideas and advice, I appreciate your willingness 
to share and educate!

I am getting ready to put up my permenant barn and pasture fencing. I'm 
planning a basic, simple building, but having seen a few things at other 
places have concluded that there are some things that are a must to 
incorporate into the structure early on.

The weather here may require a bit more for this structure due to the 
somewhat long and harsh winters. It is typical to have temperatures below 
freezing at night from mid-November through mid-May with snow laying during 
that time... with January and February keeping very cold all day long. (but, 
the flip side being, our summers tend to have nice balmy highs 80-85 with 
very low humidity!)

My question for  the day is what are the essential can't live without 
elements you would put into your barn/shelter to make life better for 
yourself and the Jacobs?
