What did the necropsy say as to reason for death?  There are lots of reasons out there for an animal to show up dead----and I have yet to hear of trimming horns as an explanation.  You can get mighty bloody if you trim too hard, and I can imagine excess loss of blood if you went down too low---but I would think that would be more than obvious by the surroundings and mess left behind.......Mary Ellen
