[Jacob-list] Update on ewe not feeling well and JSC

I purchased some great lamb tags from Premier last
year. They are plastic, rectangular shaped. Eash to
"install", and relatively easy to read. They come in
one piece. I like them because if lamb's ear grows too
much, I can snip the "loop" with scissors and the tag
is then a two-sided tag. Have had good success with
them in small ears.

I still use the button tags for scrapie tracking. Now
that I have more border leicesters and fewer Jacobs
and Shetlands, I'm not having as many ear ripping
challenges w/tags & fences.  I wish they would develop
a tag for inquisitive sheep!
