I don't think anyone means for their opinions to be taken as "heated."  Personally, I enjoy hearing (and learning from) 
the differing opinions and don't see any of the disagreements as mean-spirited.   It's the different opinions and 
personalities that make this list as enjoyable for me as the same diversity does in my flock.
