I have a nice feeder plan designed by MSU for a feeder made with plywood and
two by fours.  3 sheets of plywood make 4 feeders.  It holds an entire bale
of hay.  We just built them and so far it works nicely with very little
waste of hay and it is horn compatible. If anyone is interested, email me
and I can send you the plans.
It sounds similar to the one Linda Bjarkman mentioned.
