[Jacob-list] hay manger

We are thinking of building a hay manger/holder. Currently, we feed hay on
simple plastic toboggans that were quite useful in last years snow (simply
load it up and haul it to the sheep). The problem is that the sheep walk in
it and poop in it. We want to build something to elevate the hay off the
ground. Do Jacobs have problems with the usual design- do the horns
interfere with the vertical wood slats preventing eating? Anyone know of a
good design to use?
