I have been wondering if this was to me ?  Do you mean 'what is a tup'?  A tup is another word for a ram, which tends to be used round here more than 'ram'.  It is also used to mean  breeding or mating , eg tupping time, a ewe has been tupped, etc.

If you were not meaning that, sorry !
