Hi,
       I prefer a properly adjusted harness every time. Less time consuming 
for the shepherd, much less danger of it running out as you forget to top it 
up one day, less damage to the wool. The lighter colours do wash out more or 
less. Use a ram lamb size if they have one.

I would always say avoid red...particularly if it's warm. I used it once and 
it was like Custer's Last Stand.......LOL!
