[Jacob-list] Fibre Folds

Here in Georgia, we are eagerly awaiting for our Fibre Folds sheep to make the last leg of their journey - from Cathy's here where Danya will stay and the rest go on to Kathey's.

It is always sad to hear of a beloved flock like Fibre Folds (Maverick/Rockies, Bullthistle, and others) that are being dispersed for health reasons. I'm glad that these flocks have found homes where the lines will continue.

One of the things I find admirable among Jacob breeders is the willingness to promote other breeders' sheep. Breeders seem to be more than willing to help in transportation - even if they are not selling the animal. I have found many breeders that will recommend someone else's sheep, even if they have something to sell, because they have felt it would suit the buyer's flock better. It's a good group of people that truly care about the breed.

It's a bit muddy here, but luckily we had enough rain in the last month that we have a little grass left. I will never complain about rain again!! It's been a hard few years.
