Katherine, I'm really sorry that you got the impression that I was upset
about the rabies talk. (If I am the Louise you mentioned, and I guess I am,
because I haven't read of another one.)
Neal wrote to the list that he thought that it made more sense to vaccinate
him (or, to quote him, "ME") for rabies than our sheep. He was more or less
serious in this opinion. Linda initially misread his emphatic 'ME' as
meaning Mary Ellen Hansson. Immediately realizing her mistake, she thought
it was funny and emailed Neal and Mary Ellen to share her comical error. I
read this and thought of recent communication from Mary Ellen regarding her
consideration of rejoining the JSBA. I emailed Mary Ellen and Linda and
asked, by way of a joke, whether she would rejoin if she had to get
vaccinated for rabies 1st. Mary Ellen thought this was funny, and,
mistakenly thinking I had emailed the Jacoblist, made reference to it in a
posting she made to the list. The posting made no sense to anyone who hadn't
read the 2 previous emails. Linda has posted her original thoughts, and I
wouldn't bother anyone with this long-drawn-out explanation except for the
impression that I am upset. Honestly, I am not upset with anyone. I love to
read the postings and think of many of you as my friends, even though we
have never met. Louise
