<div>Hi,</div>
<div>Could anyone recommend wool processors?  I have only sent my fleeces
out a</div>
<div>couple of times for processing as I usually do my own processing.  I
have a PG</div>
<div>picker and electric drum carder and I'm usually happier with the
fleece I process</div>
<div>myself than with what I've gotten from commercial processors.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Due to lack of time, I'd like to send out my adult fleeces this year.
I can't quite give</div>
<div>up the pleasure of "getting to know" my lambs via working with their
fleeces.</div>
<div>I would like to find a processor without a minimum run as I will
separate fleeces</div>
<div>by color and type.  I have two distinct types of fleeces - a soft and
elastic type and</div>
<div>another that is soft, less elastic, but silkier.  I like to process
them separately. (Ok, I</div>
<div>admit it - I do have one not-so-soft fleece, but I don't need
processing for that one!)</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The more elastic wool frequently gets blended with angora, while the
silkier type is</div>
<div>often blended with silk.  Actually, I'd also be interested in hearing
how other breeders</div>
<div>design their yarn.  One of my favorites is to add some very black
alpaca with my very</div>
<div>black wool and chocolate alpaca with the black wool that has
sunbleached to a</div>
<div>chocolately color. It really accentuates the colors nicely.  Another
favorite yarn uses</div>
<div>the addition of brightly dyed kid mohair to natural colored yarn -
just enough to add</div>
<div>some sparkle.  Then there is my all time favorite - hand painted yarn
- just so many</div>
<div>options!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Any suggestions or ideas?</div>
<div>Thanks.</div>
