Hi all,

I keep forgetting to ask this question, and every time I go turn up some
debris in the sheep shed or sheep yard, I think of it.....

What type worm is it that you see 1-2 inches below the surface of the soil
during the winter, usually in an upright position, 1/4-1/2 inch across,
predominantly white but with colored head (think also other end)......

What do these critters turn into in the spring? My theory is they are the
katydid larvae.
