Have a blessed Christmas, everyone!!!

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the barn,
Not a creature was stirring
All was quiet on the farm.
The Jacobs were all settled
Quite warm in their coats,
Dreaming of lush pastures
And molasses with oats.
Pa was in bed
Snoring a tune,
I crawled under the quilt
And fell asleep soon.
When out in the meadow
There arose such a clatter,
I fell out of bed
Trying to see what was the matter.
I flew to the window
Flipped on the flood light,
I couldn’t believe my eyes
It was Santa all right!
I overheard the old boy
Pleading with our ram,
"Rudolph is quite sick,
Please help me out of this jam."
The ewes were all bug-eyed
And huddled in fright,
As their mighty Jacob ram
Agreed to help Santa that night.
What a sight to behold
As the ram took his place,
Santa clucked to his team
And they rose into space.
Santa seemed quite thrilled
And then I heard him say,
"No more reindeer for me
Only Jacobs for my sleigh!"
"What a majestic animal
What a beautiful sight.
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night!!"
