What age are the sheep to which you are referring?  I happen to prefer
striped horns myself, and in every case where I have had a lamb with striped
horns, they have emerged very white.  The black stripes seem to emerge after
about one and half to two inches of horn growth.  And yes, in every instance
where I have striped horns, I have striped hooves; and in every instance
where I have black/dark brown horns, I have black hooves.
