Hi Folks,

Out here on the east coast of Nebraska we have a "weed" that was once grown by the government, WPA or some such department, that has now grown wild.  We call it "Nebraska Ditch Weed".  We have it on our farm in the corners and the rough places and we are always trying to eradicate it (Disclaimer:  We do not plant, cultivate, or harvest it in any shape or form!!!!)  The sheep just LOVE it!  They seem to prefer it over the grass.  When I go out in the pasture for a visit after the sheep have been grazing on the leaves and seeds, they'll come up for a chest scratch.  I'll lean down and get a burp in the face that has a mighty peculiar odor!!
