[Jacob-list] Predators

Hi all,
There has been a lot of good information about protecting your flock from 
predators. At the present time my flock can't go to pasture unless I'm home 
and can see them. Just a hair paranoid and overprotective at the moment.
I like the idea of a horse as a LGH. Would a donkey also be effective? I 
understand the llama's are not all "protective", that you need to find the 
right animal, right personality. Would this also be true of a horse or donkey?
My neighbor's horse's will either allow his dog to chase them or they just 
ignore the barking.
